New Studio Design Italia Mania PL3 NT Ceiling Surface Mount Accent or Task Light I purchased a set of seven of these Studio Design Italia Mania ceiling mount accent/task lights when I had grand plans for our renovation. Three were installed (see picture #4) over what was my desk; four remain in their boxes. Studio Design Italia (now Lodes) are a Venice light studio who make stunning architectural modern lights -- but no longer make this particular model. They were made to take a GZ10 2 pin halogen bulb--in the set we installed I did one halogen in the center and two LEDs. In the picture you can see the middle one with the halogen makes the light pattern that you can see in the stock photo. The LEDs work fine, but you lose the lovely light pattern on the ceiling. I don't know the significance of the model designation, but these were also available with the drop section made from glass. (These were shipped to Studio Italia's Miami warehouse/distribution--I'm not sure if they are still open.) Boxes are slightly worn, two have been opened but all parts are present. These fixtures require a ceiling electrical box and hard wiring.
